On Friday, November 29, Ukrainian border guards stopped crossing the border with two countries — Moldova and Romania.

This was reported by the State Border Service of Ukraine.

“Attention! Checkpoints on the border with Moldova and Romania are suspended,” the message reads.

The border guards noted that the processing of documents for crossing the border has been suspended for both people and vehicles. The reason for this decision is “technical malfunctions”.

The DPSU did not specify when they plan to fix the system and resume transit operations.

“Please take this information into account when planning trips,” the State Border Service warned.
