The US Department of State has updated recommendations for travel to Ukraine.
Oksana Markarova, the ambassador of Ukraine to the United States, announced this on Facebook.
“Instead of level 4 (do not travel) for the entire country, nine Ukrainian regions are now classified as level 3, which sufficiently warns of the danger to American citizens, but makes it much easier for representatives of businesses, organizations and institutions to visit Ukraine,” Makarova said.
Volyn, Lviv, Chernivtsi, Zakarpattia, Ivano-Frankivsk, Ternopil, Rivne, Khmelnytsky and Zhytomyr regions are among the regions for which the level of danger has been reduced.
