Deputy State Duma of the Russian FederationSvetlana Zhurova in an interview with the online publication LiveResult.ru stated in which case the Russian figure skater Kamila Valieva will be able to win a second appeal in the doping case, Sports.kz reports.
“Only if they consider this as case law, and we understand when decisions are made in favor of athletes in such cases, then there is a chance,” Zhurova said.
Let us recall that on January 29, 2024, the Court of Arbitration for Sport disqualified Valieva for four years for violating anti-doping rules. The 18-year-old's results from December 2021 were cancelled.
