A German retailer accidentally sent an Intel Arc B570 video card to one of the PC Games Hardware forum members ahead of the official release, which is scheduled for January. Let us remind you that the Arc B570 is a simplified version of the B580, which has 10 GB of video memory.
The card owner installed the drivers manually through Windows Device Manager, ignoring errors. After a reboot, the system recognized the card as an Arc B580 with 10 GB VRAM and 15 Xe cores, although according to the specifications the B570 should have 18. Despite the non-standard installation process, no errors or malfunctions were detected.
