The Russian intercontinental ballistic missile “Rubizh”, which was used to strike the Dnieper on November 21, is ineffective for an aggressor state to use without a nuclear charge.
This was emphasized by a military expert, director of development of the information and consulting company Defense Express Valery Ryabykh in a comment on the “Espresso” TV channel.
According to him, it is known from open sources that this missile can carry the total weight of the warhead up to 1,200 kg.
“It simply doesn't make any sense to use it in conventional equipment, because the price tag of this missile starts at least $50 million, and the effect of the explosion of the TNT equivalent will not be so destructive,” Valery Ryabikh said.
