During mobilization in Ukraine, men under the age of 45 are mostly sent to assault units, while older people (45+) are sent to support units, artillery and engineering troops.
Serhii Monukalo, head of the sector of defense and mobilization work of the Sumy regional TCC and JV, told about this in an interview with “Suspilne Sumy”.
“Young people under the age of 45 are mostly sent to assault units. People older than 45 are sent to support units, artillery, engineering troops and other structures of the Defense Forces, such as border guards, the National Guard or the State Service of Special Transport,” says a representative of the TCC.
