In the Kharkiv region, a 56-year-old man was sentenced to 3 years in prison, who received three summonses, but refused to be mobilized.
This is stated in the verdict of the Balakliya District Court of the Kharkiv Region.
According to the court, in March 2024, the man was found fit for mobilization. By the end of April, he received three “combat” summonses, but categorically refused to mobilize.
At the court, the resident of Kharkiv region pleaded not guilty. He explained that in 1990-1992 he served in the military. After passing the VLC, he turned to doctors, who diagnosed him with a disease, which, according to the man, allows him to avoid mobilization.
The court noted that during the examination, the man agreed with the conclusions of the VLK and did not appeal these decisions.
