Vitaly Mandzyn showed himself excellently at the start of the new Biathlon World Cup season.
Ukrainian Vitaly Mandzyna nominated for the title of the best biathlete based on the results of the first stage World Cup-2024/25which took place in Kontiolagt, Finland.
This was reported by the International Biathlon Union (IBU).
In addition to Mandzin, the four contenders included the American Campbell Wright, the German Julia Tannheimer and the Finnish Suvi Minkkinen.
Voting for the best biathlete of the stage will continue until 21:00 on Monday, December 9.
At the stage in Kontiolagt, 21-year-old Mandzin finished in fourth place short individual racebreaking a personal career record.
