Solomon Dacres (9-1, 3 KOs) and David Adeleye (13-1, 12 KOs) met in the fight for the BBBofC English heavyweight champion title (over 90.7 kilograms).
The fight ended in the first round: challenger Adeleye landed a left hook that sent defending champion Dacres to the canvas. The referee immediately stopped the fight. Video of the heavy knockout can be seen below.
For Solomon Dacres, this defeat was the first in his professional career, and David Adeleye chalked up his 13th victory.
