The US explained why they did not train more Ukrainian F-16 pilots

The US is ready to train more Ukrainian pilots on F-16 fighters, but this has not yet happened due to the alleged lack of contingents in Ukraine for this.
This was announced by White House national security adviser Jake Sullivan during a national defense forum in the United States.
“We had a limited number of trained pilots not because we weren't ready to train them,” Sullivan said.
As Sullivan explained, the reason for this is that the Ukrainians apparently do not have the pilots “to create a full F-16 capability in time.”
“However, we are fully prepared to train the maximum number of pilots,” the advisor emphasized.
