This was announced by White House national security adviser Jake Sullivan during a national defense forum in the United States.
“We had a limited number of trained pilots not because we weren't ready to train them,” Sullivan said.
As Sullivan explained, the reason for this is that the Ukrainians apparently do not have the pilots “to create a full F-16 capability in time.”
