The White House has officially confirmed permission for the Armed Forces to strike the Russian Federation with ATACMS missiles.
This was announced by the White House adviser on national security communications, John Kirby, Business Inside senior military reporter Jake Epstein reported.
This decision was a significant step in supporting Ukraine.
“They (the Armed Forces – ed.) can use ATACMS to protect themselves in the event of an immediate need, and right now, of course, this is happening in and around Kursk,” Kirby said.
He emphasized that the United States explained to the Ukrainian military exactly which targets could be hit by American missiles.
“We have changed the guidance and given them instructions that they can use it to hit exactly these types of targets,” the White House adviser concluded.
