Veteran Anatoly Leonenko, known as “Buffalo”, noted that his pension is not enough even to rent a one-room apartment with proper repairs in Kyiv.
He told about this in a conversation with Nata Ostrovskaya exclusively for TSN.
“I won't say the amount of the pension, I don't want to, but if you live in Kyiv and rent a one-room apartment without renovation, it will be enough for you. If a one-room apartment with European renovation is not enough. And if you still have a car or a wife with children, then, please I'm sorry, you can rub something with this pension and throw it away,” says Leonenko.
He also emphasized the need for state support for veterans for their adaptation to civilian life.
