In the UK, a young vet took his own life after becoming increasingly frustrated by clients who unnecessarily asked him to put their animals to sleep.
This became known during the investigation, Metro reports.
Dr John Ellis, 35, was upset that people with brand new cars parked outside his clinic were not paying to treat their animals, the coroner said.
Before he died, Dr. Ellis told his mother that clients who couldn't afford treatment often brought their pets in too late for anything to be done.
