The WBC made an official decision on the fight of the Kazakh boxer for the world title – Boxing/MMA

The World Boxing Council (WBC), during a convention in Hamburg (Germany), made a decision regarding the mandatory defense of the Dominican middleweight world champion. Carlos Adames (24-1, 18 KOs), writes Sports.kz.

According to the WBC decree, Adames will make his next title defense on February 22 in Riyadh in a fight with the Briton Hamza Shiraz (21-0, 17 KOs). After this, the winner will have to give battle to the challenger from Kazakhstan Meyirim Nursultanov (20-0, 11 KOs).

Let us note that there was talk about the Nursultanov-Adames fight several months ago. Initially, the confrontation was planned for December of this year, but then the champion changed his plans.
