The White House has promised an “avalanche” of military aid for Ukraine by mid-January.
The White House developed a strategy to support Ukraine at the last minute.
Ukraine will receive another large-scale military aid package from the United States before the inauguration of Donald Trump in mid-January 2025. This was stated by Joe Biden's national security adviser Jake Sullivan during a meeting with the head of the Office of the President of Ukraine Andriy Yermak, The Guardian writes.
Sullivan said the White House had developed a last-minute strategy to support Ukraine, including sweeping sanctions against Russia as well as an “avalanche” of military aid to Ukraine.
In particular, in a meeting with Ermak that lasted more than an hour, Sullivan promised to provide Ukraine with hundreds of thousands of additional artillery shells, thousands of missiles and hundreds of armored vehicles by mid-January.
