The experiment with falling from a height entered the Guinness Book of Records as the longest laboratory experiment. Created at the University of Queensland in Brisbane, Australia, this experiment was set up by Professor Thomas Parnell to prove to students that some substances that appear to be solid are actually not. Instead, they are incredibly viscous liquids.
