The wounded Sloboda resident successfully carried out the command order in the Northern Military District zone

The Russian Ministry of Defense and the government of the Kirov region reported that a serviceman from the Slobodsky district distinguished himself in a special operation zone at the end of October 2024.

Alexey T. received a combat mission to adjust artillery fire on enemy positions. While carrying out the order, the serviceman noticed an enemy drone. The UAV decided to attack the Sloboda resident, but Alexey T. was not at a loss, but took cover behind a tree and shot the drone with a weapon. The drone fell five meters from our fellow countryman and exploded. The fighter was wounded.

Slobozhanin himself provided medical assistance and completed the task: he adjusted artillery fire on enemy positions. The soldier acted courageously and competently and successfully carried out the order.
