The young goalkeeper spoke about being called up to the national team and named the main difference between the KPL and the First League – Football

In an interview with the KFF press service Temirlan Anarbekov spoke about the start of his career, the period in “Kairat“and successful performance for “Zhenis“, reports Sports.kz.

— Temirlan, tell us how your journey in football began and why you became a goalkeeper?
— I came to football late, at the age of 11. In Atyrau, we were just kicking the ball around with the guys, then we heard that they were recruiting for the Atyrau team. We went. At first I wanted to be a field player, but they didn’t take me. They accepted into the second squad, there was no goalkeeper. They put me in goal, I wasn’t that tall then, I stood there and hit a few shots, then the coach suggested that I play in goal all the time, I agreed.

— How did you get into the Kairat Academy?
