The increase in the tariff for electricity transmission is unjustified and will harm the competitiveness of Ukrainian enterprises. Meanwhile, Ukrenergo has ways to optimize costs, the use of which will help curb tariff growth until the end of martial law. This is stated in the official letter of the Ukrkoks Association to the Chairman of the National Energy Regulatory Commission (NEREKU) Yuriy Vlasenko.
“We appeal not to approve the draft tariff for the transmission of electrical energy for 2025 to 665.27 UAH/MWh (+26% of the current tariff). Such an increase will lead to losses of the coke industry at the level of UAH 1.3 billion.
