A recent study published in the journal Neurology suggests that older adults who experience daytime sleepiness or lack of “enthusiasm” to perform daily tasks may be at increased risk of developing MCD, a syndrome associated with pre-dementia, reports Sports.kz, citing Ferra. ru.

MCD syndrome is characterized by slow walking and mild memory problems that may appear before symptoms of dementia appear.
Researchers from Albert Einstein College of Medicine analyzed data from 445 participants with an average age of 76 years.
