“Thousand from Zelenskyi”: who has already received the money and where it can be spent

Since December 10, thousands of hryvnias have been paid out to Ukrainians under the “Winter is Support” program. According to the program, every Ukrainian, including children, has the opportunity to receive one thousand hryvnias to pay for services and goods.

More than 2.3 million Ukrainians received payments. However, it was not without fraud and attempts to withdraw these funds in cash.

How many Ukrainians have applied for payment

According to the Ministry of Economy, as of December 11, the number of applications for the payment of money under the “Winter is Support” program was made by 6.3 million Ukrainians. In particular, 1.7 million are applications for payments for children. As noted in the ministry, about 110,000 applications were rejected, particularly from citizens residing abroad.
