Rutte noted that the Alliance is not ready for events that may happen in four or five years.
The alliance is not prepared for the threats it will face from Russia in the coming years.
This was said by NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte.
“Our deterrence is good for now, but I worry about tomorrow. We are not prepared for what awaits us in four or five years. Danger is heading towards us at full speed… What is happening in Ukraine can happen here too,” the NATO Secretary General emphasized.
Mark Rutte also said it was time to move to a “wartime mindset and speed up defense production and defense spending.”
