To become a millionaire, a resident of the Kirov region needs on average 8.7 years

Analysts have calculated the speed at which residents of different regions of Russia can save money. The resulting rating was shared by the portal ria.ru.
If a Kirov resident opens a replenishable deposit in a bank and saves 10 percent of the regional median salary, then in about 8.7 years he will have a million rubles accumulated in his account. At the same time, 21 percent of residents of the Kirov region have a salary below the median, so even 10 years will not be enough for them to collect a million.
The easiest way to become millionaires is for residents of the Magadan Region, Yamalo-Nenets and Chukotka Autonomous Okrug: it takes 4.6, 4.6 and 4.1 years in the regions, respectively. At the same time, in Chechnya and Ingushetia, local residents with a median salary need more than 10 years to save a million rubles.
