Transit of Russian gas will be stopped – exact time
Ukraine consistently defends the sanctioning of both Russian assets and resources — in particular, gas and oil.
Ukraine's position regarding the possibility of continuing the transit of Russian gas to Europe remained unchanged. It will be discontinued at 7:00 a.m. on January 1, 2025.
This was announced by Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal during his speech in the Verkhovna Rada on Friday, December 20.
The head of the Ukrainian government emphasized that Ukraine consistently defends the sanctioning of both Russian assets and resources, in particular, gas and oil.
“We are against any support of the aggressor through the sale of Russian gas or oil,” Shmyhal said.
