If the newly elected US President, Republican Donald Trump, agrees to conclude a peace agreement to end the war in Ukraine, which will allow the Russian Federation to emerge victorious from the situation, then this will “undermine” the interests of the United States.
This statement was made by the Chairman of the NATO Military Committee, Dutch Admiral Rob Bauer, on the sidelines of the European defense summit, which was held in Prague, writes The New York Times.
“If you allow a country like Russia to win and come out of this situation as a winner, what will that mean for other autocracies in the world where the US also has interests?” the officer said.
