Simon Schuster – American journalist, correspondent of Time magazine. He worked as a political columnist in Moscow for Western publications, after which he returned first to Europe, then to the USA. With the beginning of the Ukrainian-Russian war, he widely covered it in the columns of the magazine. After the article about the downing of the Boeing near Donetsk, Shuster was banned from entering Russia.
His publications about the war sometimes caused mixed reactions in Ukraine. At the beginning of the full-scale invasion, he spent a lot of time in the close circle of the president of Ukraine, as a result of which he wrote the book “Showman” – about Zelenskyi, his metamorphosis during the war and relations with members of his team.
