The Tu-160M strategic bomber is a modernized version of the Soviet Tu-160.
In 2025, Russian troops will receive four Tu-160M bombers. This was announced by Defense Minister Andrei Belousov at the board of the Russian Ministry of Defense.
“We will accept four Tu-160M strategic missile carriers into the air strategic forces,” the Russian official said.
Belousov added that in 2025 the army will also receive the strategic nuclear submarine “Prince Pozharsky”. This is a Project 955 Borey submarine, which belongs to the fourth (last for today) generation.
