Two European capitals connected by a new high-speed train – UNIAN
The new ICE train between the German and French capitals began its first flight on December 16, 2024.
At the end of 2023, after a ten-year break, Berlin and Paris were connected by night high-speed trains. Now it finally has a daytime equivalent, allowing passengers to travel between the German and French capitals faster than ever.
The new direct ICE train will operate daily and travel for around eight hours, leaving Paris Gare de l'Est at 9:55 am and arriving at Berlin Main Station at 6:03 pm. In the opposite direction, the train will depart at 11:54 am and arrive at 7:55 pm. Along the way, it will also make stops in Strasbourg, Karlsruhe and Frankfurt am Main.
