In the Kirov region, a drunk man caused a serious accident. The accident was reported to the regional State Traffic Inspectorate.

According to the department, on the afternoon of Saturday, December 7, in the Omutninsky district, the driver of a Lada Priora was unable to keep the car on the road and drove into a ditch, where the car overturned. The accident occurred at 14:20 on the road from the regional center to the village of Peskovka. Two victims are known: a 37-year-old driver and his 39-year-old passenger. As it turned out, the man was drunk at the wheel.

According to the regional State Traffic Inspectorate, on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, from December 6 to 8, six serious accidents occurred on the region’s roads, in which 13 drivers, passengers and pedestrians were injured. One road accident claimed the lives of three people at once.
