Former absolute champion of the world in super heavy weight Mike Tyson set a historical record in a fight with a popular blogger Jake Paulin which was defeated unanimous decision of the judges.
The legendary American returned to the ring at the age of 58. This happened almost 40 years after his debut in professional boxing, which took place on March 6, 1985.
Thus, “Iron Mike” became the owner of the longest career among all boxing champions. 14,499 days passed from the moment of his first fight to the last.
This is an absolute record. Tyson surpassed the world champion in five weight categories, Roy Jones Jr., whose career lasted 12,231 days.
