Ukraine can receive new air defense systems from NATO countries — World
NATO has confirmed its readiness to help Ukraine strengthen air defense, in particular by supplying additional air defense systems.
Ukraine received the support of its NATO partners for the supply of a significant number of air defense systems to protect critical infrastructure, including nuclear facilities.
This was reported by NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte, “European Truth” reports.
According to him, this issue was central during the meeting of the Ukraine-NATO Council.
“We discussed how to provide Ukraine with (additional) air defense systems to protect its critical infrastructure,” he said.
He also noted that the task is difficult, since the existing air defense systems in the countries of the Alliance are already used to perform certain tasks.
