Ukraine thanked Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk for confirming the principle “nothing about Ukraine without Ukraine”.
This was announced by the spokesman of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Heorhiy Tykhi, Interfax-Ukraine reports.
“The Ukrainian side consistently and firmly emphasizes the need to strictly observe this principle. The war is on Ukrainian soil, so Ukraine will determine the parameters of the path to a comprehensive, just and sustainable peace,” he said.
The speaker noted that it is important for all peace-loving countries to achieve a fair end to Russia's war against Ukraine, while respecting the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine, as well as international norms and principles of the UN.
