The supply of Russian wheat to Syria has been suspended due to uncertainty about the new government.

The President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyi, instructed the government to develop mechanisms for the supply of grain to Syria to prevent a food crisis in this country, which has suffered for more than ten years from a war waged by Russia and Iran.

He announced this in his address on Saturday, December 14.

“We are ready to help Syria prevent a food crisis. In particular, thanks to the humanitarian program “Grain from Ukraine” – Grain from Ukraine.
