Ukraine will receive a $725 million aid package from the United States
The Pentagon revealed the details of the new package.
Ukraine will receive from of the United States a new $725 million military aid package.
This is stated in messages US Department of Defense.
The Pentagon reported that the day before US Defense Minister Lloyd Austin had a conversation with his Ukrainian counterpart Rustam Umerov. During the conversation, the parties discussed the situation on the front line and Washington's assistance to Kyiv.
In addition, during the conversation, Austin condemned Russian missile attacks on civilian infrastructure.
It is reported that the new aid package includes:
- ammunition for national advanced anti-aircraft missile systems (NASAMS);
- “Stinger” missiles;
- munitions to counter unmanned aerial systems (c-UAS);
- ammunition for highly mobile artillery rocket systems (HIMARS);
