Ukraine will receive up to €35 billion loan from the EU: details of the agreement – UNIAN

It is expected that all loan proceeds to Ukraine will be on an irrevocable basis.

Minister of Finance of Ukraine Sergei Marchenko signed a Memorandum of Understanding and a Credit Agreement between Ukraine and the European Union to attract up to 35 billion euros of macro-financial assistance (MFA).

As the press service of the Ministry of Finance reported, Chairman of the National Bank of Ukraine Andriy Pyshny is also a signatory from Ukraine, and Vice-President of the European Commission Valdis Dombrovskis is a signatory from the EU.

It is noted that the funds are part of the G7 initiative for a mechanism for additional loans to increase revenues to the budget of Ukraine.
