Ukrainian drones will receive universal software — Weapons
A feature of the new software is the ability to combine drones from different manufacturers into a common architecture, which ensures the integration of all unmanned systems on a single platform.
The German defense concern Rheinmetall announced cooperation with the American company Auterion. The goal of this collaboration is to develop common operational standards for the control of autonomous drones.
This was reported by the Financial Times.
Auterion CEO Lorenz Mayer noted: “In today's transition from manned to unmanned systems, it is extremely important that autonomous systems can interact with each other.”
The control system from Auterion is already used for Ukrainian drones. Its feature is the ability to combine drones from different manufacturers into a common architecture, which ensures the integration of all unmanned systems on a single platform.
