Ukrainian news – Ukrainian soldiers will be able to use the domestic armored personnel carrier Oncilla Shturm – UNIAN
The new armored vehicle has an automatic transmission and is equipped with a heavy machine gun.
The fleet of domestic military equipment was replenished with Oncilla-Shturm armored personnel carriers, which are designed to perform a wide range of combat missions.
As reported by the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, the armored vehicle has been codified and approved for operation. The armored personnel carrier accommodates three crew members and six riflemen. The vehicle is equipped with an automatic transmission and a powerful turbodiesel engine, which together give the armored personnel carrier good driving and speed characteristics. The fuel supply is enough for more than 700 km of travel.
