Ukrainian poet and soldier Myroslav Gerasimovych died in the war
On November 29, Myroslav Gerasimovych would have turned 57 years old.
In Russian-Ukrainian war the poet and novelist Myroslav Gerasimovych (Kulik) died.
This was announced on Facebook by the poet's brother Taras Kulyk.
“My brother Myroslav Kulyk gave his life in the battle with Russia in the city of Avdiivka, Donetsk region,” he wrote.
The poet's brother clarified that Myroslav Gerasimovych died on November 25. He also quoted his lines:
“On this earth, old and young,
Somewhere each of us will die.
So, consider it luck –
If you met death
– In the funeral home for the ashes of ancestors
The smoke of native altars”.
Myroslav Gerasimovych (Kulik) was born in Lutsk on November 29, 1967. He would have turned 57 today. He was a poet, novelist, screenwriter, musician. Graduated from the faculty…
