Ukrainian politicians feel that a cease-fire regime in Ukraine is becoming an increasingly obvious scenario, so they have already begun to prepare for elections that may take place after the end of martial law.
This opinion was expressed by the head of the Center for Analysis and Strategies Ihor Chalenko on the air of the Kyiv24 TV channel.
“At least two presidential candidates have already started external campaigns. This indicates that the politicians feel that the ceasefire regime is realistic, that there may not be a further extension of the martial law regime after February 7,” he said, without specifying which “presidential candidates” he was referring to.
