Switzerland wants to deprive Ukrainian citizens who lived in rear regions of the right to asylum. Swissinfo.ch reports this.
On Monday, the House of Representatives partially approved a Senate proposal to limit the issuance of “S permits” to Ukrainians fleeing war. The decision was made by 96 votes of deputies against 87. According to the voted proposal, when granting “S status” for the right to reside in Switzerland, Ukrainians will be distinguished depending on where in Ukraine they lived before leaving the country.
