The authorities of Saxony decided to deport from Germany to Ukraine a successful businessman who had lived in the country for more than 10 years, writes BILD.
We are talking about Valery Starodub, who runs a car transportation company and provides jobs to Ukrainian refugees. However, the man faced the threat of deportation, because the local migration service refused to renew his residence permit, which threatens not only his business, but also the employees who work in the company.
BILD said that Starodub has been living in Germany since 2013, and since 2016 he has been seeking an extension of his residence permit, but the Leipzig authorities ignored his requests for about seven years.
