The Turkish series “Genius” (Deha) depicted Ukrainian refugees as women who provide intimate services for money. Because of this, the series received serious criticism.
The Ukrainian writer Vera Tanysh told about it on the air of the “Kyiv-24” TV channel.
She is the mother of three children and has the status of international protection in Turkey. Vera Tanysh is outraged that the dignity of Ukrainian women who fled the war was neglected.
