Ukrainian refugees will have free travel in Lithuania for another year: details – World

The relevant decision was made by the local authorities.

In 2025, Ukrainian refugees in Kaunas will be able to use public transport at a discount. Similar decisions were made by other big cities of Lithuania.

This was reported by LRT.

Refugees from Ukraine who arrived after the start of Russia's full-scale invasion will receive a 99% discount on the purchase of timed e-tickets for buses and trolleybuses throughout the next year.

To use the benefits, it is necessary to provide a digital permit for temporary residence in Lithuania, issued by the Department of Migration, as well as an identity document issued by Ukraine.

The decision was approved in December as part of a program to support Ukrainians forcibly staying in Lithuania.
