Failures of passport services are officially explained by the lack of “technical ability” to transfer information about a person to the Obereg Registry of Conscripts.
Passport services abroad are massively refusing to accept documents for registration or exchange of a Ukrainian citizen’s passport and an international passport for men aged 18, for whom there is no entry in the “Obereg” Registry of Conscripts.
As the Forensic-Legal Gazette reports, we are also talking about those who left before 2022, in particular, to study, or after the start of a full-scale invasion, and accordingly did not have time to physically register with the TCC.
