“Ukrposhta” issued a stamp in honor of Usyk's fight with Fury: details – Ukraine
“Ukrposhta” will transfer the proceeds from the sale to the charity Usyk Foundation.
The penultimate official stamp from “Ukrposhta” in 2024 will be dedicated to the legend of Ukrainian sports – Oleksandr Usyk, and his fight with Tyson Fury for the WBC, WBA, WBO and IBO heavyweight world champion titles.
This was announced by the general director of “Ukrposhta” Ihor Smilyanskyi.
According to Smilyanskyi, the image of Usyk on the stamp is a message that “the world loves the strong”, and Ukrainians are famous for courage and resilience.
New postage stamp
“Ukrposhta” will transfer the money earned from the sale of the stamp to the charity Usyk Foundation, which was created to support the Defense Forces and Ukrainians who suffered from Russian aggression.
The print run of the stamp will be 420,000 copies, and the artist will be Serhii Tekhov.
