Under Trump, the war in Ukraine may intensify
Donald Trump will be forced to resume aid to Ukraine, probably even more.
Despite the promise of US President-elect Donald Trump to stop the war in Ukraine, it can only intensify during his stay in the White House.
This opinion was expressed by the former Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, Dmytro Kuleba, in a column for The Economist.
According to him, even if Trump halts US military aid to Ukraine to force Kyiv to make concessions to Russia, it will not lead to a ceasefire, as Ukraine will still have some weapons stocks previously received from the US and aid from Europe.
