Olympic champion Ukrainian boxer Alexander Khizhnyak received from the WBC, WBA, WBO and IBO heavyweight champion Alexandra Usika cash reward for winning 2024 Olympics in Paris (France)), reports Sports.kz with reference to Tribuna.com.
Khizhnyak visited Alexander’s training camp in Spain and received 100 thousand dollars.
Before the Games, Usik promised Ukrainian boxers a monetary reward for the Olympic award.
Khizhnyak became the only Ukrainian boxer to stand on the podium in Paris. In the final of the 2024 Olympics, Alexander Khizhnyak defeated Kazakh Nurbek Oralbay.
