Usyk Fury – the result of the rematch, who won – Sport
The Ukrainian champion defeated the “Gypsy King” for the second time.
Ukrainian boxer Oleksandr Usyk defeated the British Tyson Fury in rematch and defended the WBA, WBO, WBC and IBO world heavyweight titles.
The match took place on the night of December 22 in Riyadh (Saudi Arabia). All the titles held by the Ukrainian boxer were at stake.
The boxers went the full distance of 12 rounds, as a result of which Usyk defeated Fury by unanimous decision of the judges – all three 116-112.
Unlike the first fight, this time the title of absolute world champion was not at stake, as before Alexander refused from the IBF title. Now it is owned by the British Daniel Dubois, who has already managed to protect it, knocking out of his compatriot Anthony Joshua.
