Abdukodir won this title through fan voting. The footballer beat his competitors by a wide margin.
Jonathan Rowe (Marseille) and Malik Fofana (Lyon) were among the contenders for the title of the best young player of October in the championship. Abdukodir received 47% of the votes in the poll. Rowe and Fofana received 28% and 25% respectively.
Note that Khusanov moved to Lance from Energetik-BGU. In 2023, the French club paid the team from Belarus 100,000 euros for the transfer.
