Zokirova’s opponent in the decisive confrontation was the Chinese woman Wang Lina. After three rounds of the meeting, the judges announced their verdict: the Chinese athlete won by unanimous decision. At the same time, Lina took all three rounds on points. Thus, she became the owner of gold at the 2024 ChA, while Aziza will go home with a silver medal.
Let us remember that in the previous round of the tournament, Aziza Zokirova won by unanimous decision against Ukrainian Maria Borutsa, while Van Lina “defeated” Diana Magauyeva from Kazakhstan.
